DR. L. RICHARD MORGAN: I was trained to do facelifts, as everyone was, but in the early '90s and mid-'90s, then we started going to a different concept. It used to be that we would stretch the skin over the face, much as you'd put a bedspread on a bed. But then we realized it was more important to take care of the blankets underneath. I'm sure you've all seen a bed that was made with just stretching the bedspread over. By 10, you knew the blankets hadn’t been taken care of. So we take care of the blankets and let the skin come along. It's a much more natural look, it lasts longer and it looks terrific.
