DR. L. RICHARD MORGAN: Facial fillers have been very popular over the last several years because we have things that work, things that are safe and so of the several that are out there, we employ those that we think are safest and do the best job for areas around the mouth, the facial creases. There's some fillers for right at the junction between the cheek pad and the eyelids that are hopeful. Then there's areas that you can fill not only on the lips themselves, but the lines that go down from the lips that are called marionette lines.
One can use fillers in the area of the forehead for the creases up in this region and they have several for that. We can also use Botox, but sometimes it takes a combination. We use Restylane and we use Hylaform and Radiance is a good filler and it lasts probably as long as any of them but we don't use it in the lips. Then there are some fillers that are made from the dermis of humans and that's probably about all we use.
